Jiří has more than 25 years of experience in investment and finance management, and strategic advice in the area of commercial real estate, corporate finance and private equity. At WOOD & Company’s real estate funds, Jiří is responsible for strategic management, the formation and implementation of long-term investment strategies, finding new opportunities, and the development of existing assets in the portfolio of WOOD & Company’s funds.
Prior to joining WOOD & Co., Jiří was a member of the Board of Directors and the CFO of the leading European commercial development group HB Reavis for four years. In his position as the corporate finance director of ABN AMRO Bank ČR and Česká spořitelna, Jiří took part in a number of successful mergers and acquisitions and capital market transactions. He was also a member of the Board of Directors of ŽB-Trust, an investment company of Živnostenská banka, and a member of the Board of Directors and Supervisory Boards of several corporations.
Marek joined WOOD & Co. as an investment manager in 2013 and participated in the acquisition processes of most of the assets in the real estate funds in Prague and Bratislava.
In 1999, Marek was one of the founders of Genesis Capital, a private equity fund focused on the Czech Republic and Slovakia. In 2005, he joined the newly established private equity branch of PPF (the largest Czech private finance group), where he worked on mid-size and large transactions in the CEE region. As an investment manager, he was in charge of a number of projects in the Czech Republic, Ukraine and Romania. In 2011, he joined Perun Capital, a private equity fund registered in Vienna, and took part in a number of its turnaround projects in Hungary, Ukraine and Bulgaria. Marek holds BSc and MSc degrees from the University of Bedfordshire.
Martin works for WOOD & Company as the investment manager of the real estate operations in Slovakia. His responsibilities include strategic portfolio management, the management of Bratislava’s real estate team and the coordination of the development of the Slovak portfolio assets in WOOD & Co.’s funds.
Martin has more than 15 years of experience in advising both sellers and purchasers, in investment banking and private equity. Over the years, he has worked on a number of transactions on the Slovak and Czech markets in various sectors, including energy, public services, healthcare, telecommunications, and others. Martin is also active in the waste management sector as the investment manager of the KOSIT Group, and the director of several portfolio companies within the WOOD & Co. Group.
Miroslav is a member of WOOD & Co.’s Slovak real estate team, and is responsible for the commercial and operational management of two assets in Bratislava – Aupark Tower and BBC5. Apart from managing part of the portfolio, he also manages acquisition processes, including the negotiation of bank financing, and acts as an executive director of Slovak WOOD & Co.’s real estate portfolio companies.
Miroslav has extensive experience in the financial sector. Prior to joining WOOD & Co., he worked for UniCredit Bank in Bratislava. Miroslav currently utilizes extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions for both the buy and sell sides and advisory mandates in infrastructure, energy, pharma and the real estate industry. Miroslav is a member of the investment team of Saneca Pharmaceuticals.
Radovan is a member of WOOD & Co.’s Slovak real estate team. His main responsibilities include the management of two assets in Bratislava, Lakeside Park and Westend Tower. Radovan coordinates the due diligence processes, and performs valuations and assessments of new acquisition opportunities.
Radovan has more than nine years of experience in the financial sector. Prior to joining WOOD & Co., he worked in the audit department of PricewaterhouseCoopers. He has extensive experience in advising on mergers and acquisitions in various sectors, e.g. energy, public services, road and railway infrastructure, healthcare and real estate. Radovan is also a member of CTI Group’s investment team, and the director and member of the Board of Directors of several portfolio companies within the WOOD & Co. Group.
Katarína has been operating on the real estate market for more than 20 years, in the field of commercial real estate at companies with both local and international reach. At WOOD & Company Real Estate, she manages the development of the business and, together with the leasing team, the leasing of the Slovak portfolio. Among other things, Katarína oversees the development and implementation of the company's marketing strategies. Her tasks include covering and coordinating activities in connection with the brand's corporate identity.
Before joining the WOOD & Company Real Estate team, she worked for almost six years at Cushman & Wakefield as Head of Business Development & Consultancy for Slovakia.
Peter has worked with WOOD & Company Group since 2006 and has many years of experience in investment banking, including the management of purchase and sales processes, the assessment, structuring and creation of investment opportunities, bond issues, and negotiations of bank financing, etc. He has participated in a number of major transactions in various sectors, and has worked in the field of commercial real estate since 2010.
Peter is in charge of the acquisitions and divestments of all the Czech assets in WOOD & Company’s real estate Sub-Funds. He is also responsible for finding and assessing new opportunities, and the development of existing assets – especially in his capacity as the executive director of the HARFA shopping and office centre in Prague.
Jan has been operating in the real estate market for more than 20 years, in asset management, portfolio management, fund management, reconstruction and redevelopment, as well as Joint Venture structures in Central and Eastern Europe.
Prior to joining WOOD & Company Real Estate, he worked for international company Heitman, and for a multinational consulting company.
Guy is a co-founder of Sharow Capital, a market real estate management company in Central and Eastern Europe. He holds the title of MRICS – authorisation in the field of real estate valuation based on a standardised APC assessment. He has many years of experience in managing and increasing the market value of commercial real estate.
Guy has lived and worked in the Czech Republic and Poland, working for DTZ Zadlehoff Tie Leung. Subsequently, he became a director at Avestus Real Estate. Several projects under his leadership won prestigious awards and were leased with record profits. In the past, he has been a member of the RICS board of directors in Central and Eastern Europe, where he performed APC evaluations.
Lukáš has been working at WOOD & Company since 2012. He focuses on investment banking and private equity. Lukas has advised on a number of landmark transaction and advisory mandates in the energy and ICT sectors. He specialises in negotiating and managing mergers and acquisitions processes, and on evaluating and structuring investment opportunities.
Within WOOD & Company Real Estate, Lukáš conducts the acquisitions of Slovak assets.
Pavol joined WOOD & Company Real Estate in 2020 as the Leasing & Business Development Manager for the entire real estate portfolio. He focuses on identifying and evaluating new opportunities, maintaining relations with existing tenants, and developing business strategies for real estate assets.
He started to cooperate with WOOD & Co. earlier, in 2018, as a technical and risk consultant for real estate transactions. Prior to joining WOOD & Co., Pavol worked in the sales sector for more than eight years.
Jan joined the WOOD & Co. team. in 2019, after working for international companies JLL and Savills. He focused on real estate investments and finance during his studies, gaining experience from experts at the University of Cambridge and Nottingham Trent University.
